Logline: A family unites to bury their patriarch…while coming to terms with another loss.
Jack Gorman (Writer/Director/Executive Producer/Editor)
Jack Gorman is a writer, director, editor and producer, and the owner of Take the Ride Films. His work has been nominated for multiple awards, shown in film festivals, sports arenas and major broadcasts. Prior to beginning work as a filmmaker, Jack worked in professional sports for two decades, his teams winning six championships in two sports.
Theresa Converse (Executive Producer)
Theresa Converse has worked in pro sports production since 2010 for Chicago and DC based teams. She has also worked on three short films with Take The Ride Films. When she is not working in a film or sports capacity she runs Convatta Events & Productions which focuses on logistics and operations for large scale events.
Jeremy Theobald (Ethan)
Jeremy is best known for his work with Christopher Nolan and Emma Thomas as lead actor and producer in their first feature, Following (1998). Theobald made short films with Nolan and Thomas before returning to work with them on Batman Begins (2005), and most recently Tenet (2020). Jeremy also produced and was the lead in the psychological thriller Convergence (2019) that won multiple festival awards.
Peter McGlynn (Owen)
Peter McGlynn is a first generation American, raised on the East coast, currently living in Los Angeles working as an actor and becoming known for many roles resembling “the wolf in sheep’s clothing”. He has dozens of film and television credits, including starring in Patriots and Tyrants (2015).
Robin Zerbe (Lindsay/Assistant Director)
Robin is a NY-based actress and filmmaker, and 1st AD for Celtic Cross. She’s studying Film and Media Production at the City College of New York, with a focus on documentary filmmaking, and graduates with her Bachelors in May 2020.
Wes Johnson (Frank)
Wes Johnson has been seen in films such as John Waters’ “A Dirty Shame,” “The Invasion” and “For Richer or Poorer.” His television appearances include “The Wire,” “VEEP,” “Homicide: Life on the Streets” and was series announcer for “America’s Most Wanted.” He voices over 60 video game characters and is the longtime announcer for The Washington Capitals & WTT Kastles.
Adrienne Nelson (Julia)
Adrienne Nelson Co-starred on “House of Cards” in S 3, coached the Russian dialect and song for Lars Mikkelsen for S 3, 4, 5 and 6, coached the accent adjustments for Alexander Sokovikov and coached Patricia Clarkson’s Russian in S 6. Cait Kelley (Keira)
Cait Kelley is a Shenandoah Conservatory Graduate of 2019. Kelley also teaches in her spare time, when she isn’t dressing up as a Princess to attend various little one’s parties. She is very grateful for the opportunity to have worked on Celtic Cross, and is very grateful to the cast and crew for making it such a memorable experience.
Jimmy Bopp (Luther)
Jimmy Bopp was born in Levittown, New York, USA. This is his third film with Take the Ride Films, and he has close to a dozen screen credits overall.
Mary Suib (Maggie)
Mary Suib is awaiting another opportunity to attend a family funeral while demanding attention from the gathered relatives. The gathering for Celtic Cross was an exceptional experience. Hoping to do it again.
Michael Gabel (Matthew)
Michael Gabel is a multi award winning actor, director, voice artist, producer, talk show host and educator for over 40 years.
Matt Gulbranson (Declan)
Matt started out in local public theater and moved over to films and TV in 1995 after joining the screen actors guild. Over the years he has appeared in over a hundred feature films and TV shows. A former Army lieutenant colonel, West Point graduate, and Desert Storm veteran, Matt served in the Army for more than 27 years as a Military Police and Russia Eurasia Foreign Area Officer and is fluent in the Russian language.
Matt Vance (Undertaker/Sound Mixer)
Matt Vance is an actor and a graphic designer based in the Washington DC area. He was nominated as Best Actor for his work on Saturday Night at the I See You Film competition in 2016. This is his fourth film with Take the Ride Films.
Holly Kessler (Young Keira)
Celtic Cross was Holly’s first experience as an actress, but hopefully not her last!
Shawn Schaffer (Director of Photography)
Shawn Schaffer has worked in the industry for nearly two decades as a Director of Photography on everything from short films to commercials to feature films both shoestring budget and million dollar plus budgets with Academy Award nominated talent in nature. His most recent feature film as a Director of Photography was “One Moment”, currently in post-production, which was Academy Award nominee Danny Aiello’s final film.
Daniel Schaffer (Key Grip)
Daniel Schaffer has worked on close to 20 film productions, filling a diverse series of behind-the-scenes roles from grip to electrician.
Liana Gorman (Production Designer/Executive Producer/Extra)
Liana Gorman has worked on four short films, including Patriots and Tyrants and the award-nominated Saturday Night. She is a licensed social worker, currently working at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Dana Solomon (Original Score)
Dana has always been a huge fan of soundtracks from Hollywood movies as a young boy and still is to this day. His prior formal music training in college has given him many tools for developing his sound today as a composer. Composing for orchestral, electronic, or a hybrid of the two genres of music are his specialty for film soundtracks and trailer soundtracks. As a composer, he thoroughly enjoys giving the biggest impact with his music to creative professionals for their film projects.
Kelvin Prather (Assistant Camera/Extra)
Kelvin Prather born in Washington DC is a screenwriter, actor, director, and illustrator, known for 20/20 (2019), and Grown Up (2019).
Rich Kessler (Gaffer/Assistant Script Supervisor/Still Photographer/Extra)
Rich is a photographer based in Northern Virgina, husband, father of three girls and a professional bacon enthusiast. This is his second production with Take The Ride Films.
Peyton Fallas (Boom Operator)
Peyton got his first experience working in film while still in high school on Patriots and Tyrants as an Associate Producer and sound technician. Celtic Cross is his third film with Take the Ride Films.
Samantha Anderson (Makeup Department Head)
Samantha Anderson is a Los Angeles/ Portland based makeup artist specializing in film and television. She has worked on many projects in the LA area and can’t wait for her next film!
McKenzie Anderson (Script Supervisor/Extra)
McKenzie is event specialist with 7 years of experience in event production and professional sports. She is currently the Director of Group Sales and Game Operations with the Tuscon Sugar Skulls of the Indoor Football League. This is her first movie project and she looks forward to working on more.
Jaime Centenera Calero (Visual Effects Supervisor)
Jaime is the Promo Coordinator with the Olympic Channel, and is based in Madrid, Spain. He’s also a highly talented effects artists with multiple screen credits to his name.
Kevin Koski (Post-Production Consultant)
Foreign by birth (Nice, France), domestically grown (Cape Cod, MA), southern educated (SCAD, Photography) and a decade-plus resident of the most powerful city in the country. Husband, “cool dad”, photographer, American artist.
